Long Lawford Sports Pavillion

Colonial delivered a £460k design and build sports and community pavilion for Long Lawford Parish Council on a site in constant community use. Designed as one of the area's most energy-efficient leisure spaces, the facility serves multiple sports clubs & leisure centres requirements.

The original scheme was significantly over budget, utilities locations were uncertain, and the active site required careful management. We engaged an alternative architect to redesign the building to meet all specifications within budget, commissioned specialist surveys to accurately locate underground utilities when Severn Trent couldn't confirm their position, and amended the scheme through planning accordingly. Close communication with neighbouring residents ensured the project was delivered on programme despite the site remaining in active use throughout construction.
