Warehouse Rebuild Delivering Resilience, Efficiency and Continuity
A complete rebuild and refurbishment of a 2,400 sq. ft warehouse and the rear of the company office, following a devastating fire. Main works included all civils, new steel frame, new roofing and cladding, alternative M&E system to meet increased energy efficient targets plus delivered significant cost saving. The Colonial Team effectively managed over 50 changes to specification to deliver a high-performance space in budget and on programme, allowing the client to move back in as planned which was critical to business continuity and growth.
Comprehensive Warehouse and Office Rebuild Works
Corks included the complete internal rebuild of the warehouse with a new steel frame and floor slab, full cladding to walls and roof, and the installation of new roller shutter and fire exit doors. The rear office was rebuilt with a new flat roof and insulation, upgraded mechanical and electrical systems throughout, full internal decorations, new lift, WC facilities, kitchen, suspended ceilings, and new doors and flooring. Externally, the project incorporated full landscaping works including tree planting, new fencing, construction of a retaining wall, installation of electric vehicle charging points, and comprehensive car park line marking.
